Those who know my late Dad well know that one of the many facets of his personality was his love for academic rigor and study. It is something he always held dear and strove to impart to all with whom he interacted especially younger persons. He saw young people as having so much potential and felt that with application of discipline and academic rigor the hidden gifts within young people could be unearthed to the benefit of all. I remember so many stories and lessons that he regaled me with that burnt this indelibly into my psyche...
